Cannot Post / Spam Filters

When you register here the final step includes the following message:

Thank you for registering, <name>. An email has been dispatched to <email address> with details on how to activate your account. Click here to return to where you were previously.

You will receive an email in your inbox. You MUST follow the link in that email before you can post on these forums. Until you do that, you will be told that you do not have permission to post.


Failure to allow email from the address admin@dotproject.net through your spam filters will result in you not receiving this email message, ergo and forsooth, your account will not be activated and therefore you won't be able to post.

The sending of the email is an automatic function and we DO NOT / WILL NOT individually confirm spam responses or whatever other piece of silliness that your filters invoke.

You need to sort out your end and then you may need to use the resend password option to get at your account again if you can't find the validation email. Alternatively the forum software we use will resend a validation request if you haven't validated your account.
