CRM functionality?

OK - So, I'm new to list forum and get one free pass w/ the obligatory question - How can I use dotProject as a CRM took as well?
I've been trying inventive work arounds, but the functionality therein is seriously lacking...

Thoughts? Updates? Flames?

Given it's not even trying to be a CRM (and undoubtedly won't ever be) I'm not surprised the functionality is lacking. I've seen lots of discussions around about integrating it with CRM tools but I don't remember seeing any actuality. Others may remember more about it though (there was an aborted attempt many many years ago to add CRM functionality - hence the specialised forum here), but the more recent discussions were more along the integration lines.
