My company will be implementing dotproject on a beta basis for functionality this week, but there are a few things i dont see so I would like to ask about them .. delete this if i am duplicating previous requests please or edit as neccesary

1. The ability for tickets to be scheduled events. (we do on-site service calls and this would be a nice addition.

2. In the calendar view, once a day is clicked the times show for events, but dont tasks (which may have sub tasks or specific meetings etc) also need the ability to show on the calendar as a consolidated view like for printing (yes i see tham as a seperate tab but i would like a consolidated view)? Or is the view for tasks, since they represent specific items that have a deadline but not a time/place necessarily, they dont need scheduling, and if an item need a schedule it is an event?

2a. If part 2 of above is true as opposed to part 1, then would it be possible for a task to be able to generate an event linked to the task (a child of the task) for scheduling sake. (or is the parent child inheritance a tad much in terms of objects owning other objects of a different type)

2b. Tickets, which are a special kind of task, and may be scheduled if part (1) is implemented, should also appear on the calendar view under the date.

3. Is there a current implementation of customer access pages so that customers/vendors can log on to project pages and check on the status of a project (or do i have to make them members of the database of users and then assign them to the "group" that is responsible for that project) [this could get unwieldy since we most of us can be a part of 20 or more concurrent projects and the grouping would quickly go to ****]

4. The ability for tasks, tickets, and events to be made billable, and for hours tracking. Let me throw in a dream come true where i can attach a keyboard as an inventory item that was left at the customers so i know where all the damn inventory went.

4a. The ability to generate reports by customer, technician, period, etc in terms of work performed, work billed, parts used ... prolly a pipe dream but what the hell, you wont get it if yuou dont ever ask

Thanks for reading all of that crap and sorry if i rambled a tad .. just really excited about your product and hope things go well
