Hi,
I would like to install dotproject on to my hosting account.
As I've only one database, I would like to prefix any MySQL table with 'dp_', for example.
I've not seen any prefix parameter in the config file, how do I do that trick ?
Regards,
Sylvain.

Sylvain, if you download the lateste CVS version, I think Gregor put in an install directory you can ran your installdirectory/install/index.php and try that out. I am not sure how well it works, let us know if you are experiencing issues.
You might also want to do a search here on that topic, I am pretty sure this is in FAQ or at least in the forum.

Sorry, I'm new to dotproject, the FAQ and forum seem to be the same thing.
I've searched before posting and after your reply, in the forum for keyword «table», «prefix», «mysql», etc., without any success. :-(
But I could try the CVS version, I just hope it's enough documented, yet.
Regards,
Sylvain.
Found this post after my one
I've the same problem. did you found something in the CVS that would help ? I searched in the 102, but couldn'n find anything.

Hi,
I haven't read your other post, nor have time to test the DB prefix in the CVS version.
sorry. :(

Sylvain.

[I know this is dated, but...]
Nah... I've been through the source of the cvs and I can't find anything about setting a prefix... and there are lots of places where the full tablename is referenced without any variable placement for prefixes...

try one of those (and just in case you were wondering, I didn't just write them to prove you wrong ...)

I know that's exactly what you did.

Thanks by the way.
