Hi,
I have two roles for working on projects: 'team leader' (with full rights to non-admin modules) and 'project worker' (access, view and edit on non-admin modules plus add/delete-rights on tasks, task-logs and files).

In my understanding the 'project worker' should now be able to log tasks. but I experience that only 'team leader' can log activities in tasks. The role 'project worker' can only see the tab "files" if he opens a task in a project.
what permission has to be set to grant 'project workers' the right to log activities in tasks?

Many thanks for any hint

Nick

Answer: Tasks Edit permission.

You see, the tasklogs affect some tasks fields, therefore you need that permission too.

Thanks. That helped. :)
You see - I thought the permission work some kind "additive", I gave permissions to access, edit, view to non-admin modules and just gave only the missing permissions to selected modules. In case of "tasks" this was add and delete so together with the already permitted rights via the non-admin modules (of what "tasks" is a subset in my understanding) I thought I had covered all necessary permissions...

So I would have to assign all necessary permissions to every single module separately?

Thanks for your help
