Ability to see only user specfic projects

How would you setup a user so they only can see the projects they created or own. What I am finding with my users is a common complaint that they are seeing too much information and they only want to view/edit their projects.

currently the users have "Project Worker" role.

This role is leting them see all projects, so restrict the projects module view grant and only grant the specific projects permissions on their permissions tab.

Does this mean I will have to grant them privledge to each project individually? Will they be able to create a new project?

You just have to deny the view permission for them not to see the "other projects" and give view permission to the ones you want them to see.

This permissions subject is were the test 'till you get rule applies, so test it, it won't bite (much hopefully).
