I run a small business with a off shore supply and manufacturing team. My sales team is remote and my engineers and finance team are under 1 roof.
We have tested your software against phpProjeckt and without a doubt your software UI is far superior. One UI flaw (or maybe we missed something) that we found is that the "My Info"/permissions tab shows all the allowed and disallowed setting to all inividuals in the team. The important part of having this type of groupware is to shield team members from other critical information (need to know). Our supply chain should not have any type of access or knowledge that we track our accounting tasks using this tool. Our sales people should not have knowledge of our suppliers and vendors (at least at our company we do not). The "MyInfo" permissions information clearly gives hints unless we use cryptic names.
Is there a work around or direct method (permissions setting) to remove or shield this information from other groups?
Also, in Tasks we want our groups to add tasks based on departments and we have a user work around but when the team memebers from engineering click on "tasks per user" it shows all department activities. I would rather have this exposed to administrator level users.
Thanks!
