Has there been any discussions on having a knowledge base mod?
We need to get something going and are looking at having a html wiki or something. a dotProject knowledge base would be the ideal answer!
This would not take so much.
We've been using the forums to store KB info but it's not practical.

Adding A wiki is probably the way to go. We've been playing with http://www.splitbrain.org/go/dokuwiki, which is decent. Doesn't look there is much interest in some form of knowledge base for dotProject :-(

Sounds interesting. We use wiki's a lot for rapid documentation.
The thing i find more suitable about a KB is that you can structure information into Q/A format for easy digestion / searching by clients, and you can usually use some sort of Wysiwyg tool to insert images to help explain stuff to them.
I know you can do this in wikis as well (I use tikiwiki like mad myself) the loose organizational structure of wikis makes them more confusing for end-users.
Having said all that, I think wikis are a core part of good project management so I think this is a great idea!
