the "protected" and "private" of access in task edit page is different?
I set which of them both likes the same result that only the task creater can enter the task page and edit it.Others can noly see the task's name and cannot enter it. :?

Thatīs a good question. I already asked myself what the differences are.
It could make sense to set the access type "protected" taht only members of the same company can view the details of a task.
Wait for 2.0, permsissions will work much better.

Iīve installed Version 2.0, but it seems that there is still no difference between the status "protected" and "private"

These statuses don't mean much at all. The 2.0 permissions don't work this way. Check the documentation site for how 2.0 permissions works.

I canīt find any information on the documentation site about the access-type of tasks.
There are only user permissions described (view, edit,...).

Access types on tasks are informational only, they do not control access. The permissions you assign to a user do.
Okay. So I can set a task to be Private, but that doesn't make it private. Is there anyway to use permissions to limit a user's ability to see tasks? I would like to be able to create roles for clients/customers and roles for developers/employees and have the ability to show clients/customers only some of the tasks in a project. Possible?
