I inherited DP from predecessor, so far it seems great, but not 100% usable for me at my newbie state.
Here's my main hurddle at thsi time -
I could care less about the actual calendar days that pass on my projects... I'm trying to monitor project days.
IE:
day 1 - project starts
day 2 - requirements
day 10 - design complete
day 11 - client review / approval
day 12 - development starts
day 20 - development complete
My issue is day 11 - client review - might take 2 days or 2 weeks on the calendar, but I don't care... the 12th day of the project doesn't start till the client approves designs.
How is this accomplished in DP?
I'm trying to make a Virtual Client to copy to all new projects, but currently I need to add start and end dates for the tasks and sub-tasks to line up correctly.
Let me know if this isn't clear
