Hello there, I'm releasing a module that integrates trac (http://trac.edgewall.org/) into dotproject.
The current version (0.2) has trac in an iframe, you may set the url at which the trac is located and add several trac projects.
Todo for the next version:
Add permission checks
Add projects, tasks module integration
Allow to link to specific trac tickets from within projects/tasks
Add environment generation by project adding (tick case -> add as trac environment)
Preserve states (urls) between tab switches

Some news:
I released version 0.3-rc1, which features permission management a while ago and I'm currently working (rarely though, as I'm on holidays in Vienna) on a stable release of version 0.3 which will additionally feature:
tabs in both the projects and taks modules
advanced trac host and environment management
a new db structure
Some of these things are already in the CVS repository, but please be aware of the 'in-development' nature of the files from that source.
I'm looking forward to the release, and I hope so you are you.
Cheers,
David

Thanks for your encouragement.
I'm sorry to say that I couldn't finish the release candidate 2 for version 0.3 this weekend. I intend to release it either on Monday or Tuesday evening (GMT) though.
However, if you'd like to see how release 0.3 is going to look like and what it holds in charge for you, check out the module from the dotmods repository.
(Instructions: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=70930)
Mind though that not everything is working yet and that I cannot give support for the code that is available through the repository.

I'm happy to announce that version 0.3 is to be released as soon as sourceforge is back up.
Note that this should be the last post on releases in the forum. Future release announcements will be available in the wiki.

I must be missing something, I've installed the module but I see nothing, no place what so ever to configure a trac url or anything. Using the 0.5.1.
Any help would be appreciated!

Worked it out.
After adding a task, the trac tab appeared.

Hi,
yes, it still seems to be available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dotmods/files/
However, tracIntegration is no longer supported, at least not by me.
You might try asking at coders@ion.lu
They have, at least to my knowledge, taken over support.

Hello all.
I have installed the trac plugin 0.5 into a dotProject 2.1.2 and enabled the XmlRpc suport into the trac. It seems everthing occured fine and i can see the tab to configure a trac environment in the dotProject, which i filled with
Trac Host: localhost
Trac Environment: /var/lib/trac/<my project>
Suport to XmlRpc enabled? Yes
Is it correct?
When i go to some task and try to choose a ticket from the combo box it doesn't appear anything but the warning message :
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/dotproject/modules/trac/tasks_tab.addedit.trac_ticket.php on line 91
Someone can help??
Best regards,
Christian
