Hi,

I am posting this question here because I can't seem to find a better place...

Is the project currently accepting patches? I ask because there is a pile of about 80 submitted, open patches in sourceforge dating back to the middle of last year.... or are rejected patches simply not removed?

I have several minor bugfixes and enhancements that I would like made part of the distribution, but if they are not going to be accepted, I figure I shouldn't waste my time in preparing them.

Also, is there a developer list/forum?

Patches are accepted. A lot of the patches on sf are submitted by developers and are accepted in CVS. They are left open for other people to see.
I'm not sure how things stay exactly at the moment, but bug reports and patch handling is thought to be organized in a more stream-lined way in the near future. For now make sure that whatever you make is being announced on the patches forum and it is very likely to be accepted into cvs :) contributions of any sort can only be welcome.

There is a documentation site, mailing list as well as some other resources, reserved to core developers for now, but you can use any of these forums to share ideas, propose solutions or ask for opinion in approaches, etc. I hope you would find it worthwhile to contribute to this project :) thanks.

Yes, we are accepting patches. As Cyberhorse points out, you can post them on sf.net and then announce them in the patch announcement forums here. Patches that are useful (either in their functionality or in their coding style) are often left as open on sf.net, and many are accepted into CVS. We generally do not remove patches from sf.net, nor do we close them, until they are part of the released version, or rejected.

I like the patch you made for the collapsable task lists, can you update the patch so that it works with the CVS version?
