Is for each user to not loose track of them, like stickies work on a forum or a bookmark... so they get on top.

Would be great if in dotproject will be thing like: when developer click to button in task his time is start and when he click again time is stop and time automatically calulated (like in XPlanner) ;)

Please look at the tasklogs because you can find that sort of functionality there.
