hi,
I just noticed that after users login the default page opened is the ToDo day view and there not only the assigned actual tasks displayed but also the tasks of the template project. Is there a possibility that only the tasks of actual active projects are displayed?
thanx for hints
we use dotProject stable_2

Hmmm... I just noticed this, too. Even marking the project as inactive it still shows up on the todo. Maybe somebody smart, like Pedroa, will look into this :)

and the templates show also in the Gantt-chart which could confuse and distract because the dates are dummy dates and the resulting graph is just using up precious space in the chart...
I am probabaly not hte only one with this problem.
thanks anyway. :)

I have found that setting the TASKS (as opposed to the Project) inactive seems to prevent the projects' display at least on the calendar. Give it a shot for your gantt issue.

thanks for the hint. They are not in the calendar (but still in the gantt)
funny thing I just noticed with the gantt: I got the jpgrapherror again, but only for about 1-2sec and than the gantt showed including the tasks.
Maybe this observation helps someone to find the cause for http://www.dotproject.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=4859

Having the same problem - template tasks appear in assigned user's Todo lists.

The problem with this solution is that the imported tasks then retain the inactive setting. Our solution has simply been to remove any assigned users. The task owner can remain without any apparent problem.

This appears to have been fixed in 2.02....
0001495 Template tasks should not appear on user's TODO list
found on this page...
2.02 release (http://sites.sakienvirotech.com/dp_docs/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Bug+Fix+Listing+2.0.2+Release)

0001495 Template tasks should not appear on user's TODO listIt was fixed, but not included in the 2.0.2 release. The code was modified for the HEAD branch only. I'm quite certain that you can take version 1.61 from SourceForge (which is the HEAD branch of the file) and use it without any problem. So, I'm suggesting you replace v1.50.2.5 of /modules/tasks/todo.php which was distributed with v2.0.2 and replace it with v1.61. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Mote,
In the next few weeks I will be doing a fresh install of 2.02 on a new domain as the group has decided to go ahead and roll out dp from the 5 trial users to over 30 users managing over 200 projects at a time (each with over 30 tasks. So goods news.:p
So it is useful to know this was not in the 2.02 release and I need to patch a new install/release
Do I understand that all of those bugs fixed on that page are NOT in the 2.02 release?
Regards
Lloyd

Thanks Mote.
I must say it is very misleading. The front page of dp website inidicates that they have all been fixed in this release.
dotProject version 2.0.2 has been released today.
Thanks as usual go the fabulous development team for their tremendous effort with a total of 714 reports addressed since 2.0.1 was released.
For details on the bug reports closed for 2.0.2 go to Bug Fix Listing
For details on installing all versions of dotProject go to Installation Instructions
To download 2.0.2 go to Sourceforge - dotProject
Main website including all support forums, faqs, documentation etc. http://www.dotproject.net
I have never heard of software that claims that 714 fixes, but some are in and some are not. Do we have a diffinitive list of what is in the release i.e. corret release notes?

There were a few odd reports which I accidentally put in the 2.0.2 listing when they should have gone on the 3.x listing page. They are being moved as I notice / one of the developer confirms.
Hi guys,
Can anyone confirm whether the fix suggested above does in fact work, without causing any other problems?
Cheers!
Tony
